District 2 Supervisor

Shenandoah County is located in the northern part of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It containes the bulk of the Shenandoah River's north fork, including the Seven Bends. Primarily a rural agriculture county with a fifth of the land in National Forest, we are facing difficult challenges to our economy, culture, character, and environment.

Jim's simple platform. For a change.

District 2 Voters,

Thank you for your overwhelming support and faith in me. It is truly humbling that so many of you voted for me, many of you breaking with your Party ticket for the first time ever.

I will keep my word. I will strive to keep spending limited to those things that everyone (that means you) agrees are necessary, and will oppose new taxes or increases. I will fight senseless bureaucracy, try to freeze government size; and I will do whatever it takes to ensure that our children get an excellent education in return for your hard-earned taxes.

There are two sides to a bargain. I can't vote your wishes unless you let me know what your wishes are. Please keep me informed about your opinions.

Jim Patrick
